Kona International Airport (KOA) at Keahole is located approximately 22 miles from the Westin Hapuna Beach Resort and there are several transportation options.
Taxi Service
Taxi service is available in the Kona International Airport baggage claim area and fares are $137.00 inclusive of tax and gratuity. For your return trip to the airport, it is recommended you prebook a taxi with the concierge.
Car Rental
If you are planning to leave the hotel and explore the island your best option is to rent a car. Board shuttles to the car rental companies from the center median located across the street from baggage claim area A and B. Servicing companies include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty. Self-parking and valet service are available at the Westin Hapuna Beach Resort for our group rate of $15.00 per day. Maximum one car per room.
Ride-Sharing Apps
Using smartphone app-based transportation services like Uber and Lyft you can arrange to ride with drivers using their personal, non-commercial vehicles via smartphone. Pre-booking is recommended. Fare may vary according to demand and traffic.

Our group rate begins at $399.00 single/double occupancy* plus prevailing room tax and a daily resort fee of $18.50. The resort fee entitles each guest to the following items:

Check-In/Check-Out
Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 12:00 noon. Any departures after 12:00 noon will be subject to availability and possible late check-out charges, at the discretion of the Hotel.
Child Policy
Children 17 years or younger will stay free of charge in adult’s room with existing bedding. If requested, a rollaway bed is $40.00 plus tax per night.
Note: If you are booking a second room for family members, please let the hotel know in the notes section on the reservation page. The hotel will do its best to accommodate all adjoining room requests but it will be based on availability so book your reservations early.
Hotel Cancellation Policy
A one-night deposit will be taken to secure reservation at time of booking. All changes or cancellations must be made 14 days in advance, or the 1-night penalty will be charged.
*Third person charge of $75.00 plus tax per night applies to a third adult occupying the same room. Prices subject to change.
