OBJECTIVE

This course outlines the purpose of an estimator in the concrete cutting and sawing industry and reviews different methods of making estimates, compares estimates and actual costs, and discusses how estimators affect the company’s bottom line.

 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

  • Industry professionals with at least three years experience with a concrete cutting company who want to learn how to become an estimator or for those who want to broaden their knowledge of estimating.

COURSE FEE

Per Person: $900

Fee covers two days of instruction, from 8 AM – 5 PM, classroom materials, participant workbook and a box lunch. Students are responsible for their own lodging and transportation.

All students are advised to bring a calculator and architect/engineering scale for the blueprint section of the course along with a pen and note taking materials.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that situations arise that may require a change of plans. If you are unable to attend a course for which you are registered, please contact the CSDA office as soon as possible. Substitution of participants is permissible any time prior to the start of a particular course. If no substitutes can be scheduled, CSDA, in order to cover costs associated with processing cancellations, assesses a cancellation fee of $75.00 per course. Cancellations must be requested at least 72 hours before the start of the course.
