This networking and social event marks CSDA’s first virtual wine tasting of 2021. Advanced Sommelier Ian O’Reilly will host the wine tasting. Ian currently resides in Napa, California. With over a decade of experience in the hospitality business, Ian has spent the last seven years working at the world-renowned Grill 23 & Bar in Boston, Massachusetts as a beverage manager. There he developed a passion for wine education which brought him to Napa Valley, where he is a professional host of virtual wine and spirit tastings. In his spare time, Ian loves to cook, golf, and play guitar for his dog, Alba.
The event is hosted by new CSDA President Mike Orzechowski and Executive Director Erin O’Brien. We hope this will be just the first of many virtual networking events to come!
There are two ticket options. For the full experience, Ian will ship to your home or office three bottles of specially curated wine. These will be the wines we taste during the event. He will also provide additional information, like the right serving temperature of the wine and perfect pairings you can purchase locally to enhance the experience. These tickets must be purchased 3 weeks prior to the event to ensure an on-time wine delivery. If you do not wish to purchase wine, you can still join the tasting and still get the networking, social and educational benefits with your own beverage of choice.
Tickets for the full wine tasting experience are $200 ($300 for non-members) per shipment and just $25 ($75 for non-members) if you are only joining the virtual event without wine. Sorry, but we can only ship wine to our friends in the U.S. However, we would love to welcome our friends all over the world! Just purchase the $25 experience.
The wine tasting will last 60-90 minutes and the remaining time will be an opportunity for open conversation and a chance to catch up with your CSDA friends.
If you have questions, please contact Erin (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Amy (email@example.com).
The deadline to purchase the full experience ticket is Thursday, March 11 so buy your tickets today!
