Over 4,000 industry professionals have graduated from more than 20 classroom, hands-on and online CSDA training and certification programs. focused on cutting disciplines, estimating, polishing and safety. The association’s online training program offers a cost-effective alternative to those not able to afford the time or the money to send operators to classes. The 200+ page CSDA Safety Manual can be implemented as a company safety policy document. It is complemented by a pocket-sized employee Safety Handbook, which is available in English and Spanish. The association also has six safety DVDs focused on concrete cutting disciplines and electrical safety. All of these items have been specially designed for contractors in the cutting, polishing and imaging industry and are available to CSDA members at a significant discount.
Toolbox Safety Tips (TSTs) can be used in employee safety meetings and form an important part of a company’s safety program. CSDA has released over 100 TSTs since the program began. Information on this website, including the Members Section, is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The same applies to courses in the CSDA Online Training Program and the association’s discussion forums and groups on social media. The association also has a mentor program, designed to help industry startups or provide guidance for inexperienced business owners during their first year of membership. The aim of the CSDA Next Generation group is to continue the growth of the association, and industry, while serving the needs and wants of the younger generation. The association is here for you.
