Presentation - Segments Save the Planet….and our Supply Chain
10:30 AM – 11:15 AM
Presenter: Bill Fisher, National Research Company
It’s no secret to the industry that each year hundreds of thousands of saw segments and coring crowns enter the marketplace with intensions of building and maintaining our nation’s infrastructure. However, these segments are doing more than simply building America; they are helping to rebuild our independence from foreign supplies of strategic minerals. This presentation looks to give a broad overview of what impact the recycling of saw segments and core crowns can have to our nations’ growing reliance on foreign minerals, the establishment of new electrification technologies, and overall sustainability of our natural resources.
